How to get found on Google

How to use it

  1. Answer each question honestly. “Not sure” counts as a no, and that’s fine.
  2. Hit Get my score. Your answers stay on your device.
  3. Start with the three fixes at the top. Most take under an hour and cost nothing.

Questions about this tool

What does the score mean?

It’s the share of the basics you already have in place. Above 80, customers can find you. Between 50 and 80, you show up but look less complete than competitors. Under 50, most people searching for what you do won’t find you.

Do I need a website to score well?

One of the six questions is about your website. You can still score well on the Google listing and reviews questions without one, and those are often the quickest wins.

Is my information saved?

No. The score is worked out in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to have me email you the results.
